You have many options about where you and your family choose to receive your health care. At North Memorial Health, we believe in empowering you to make the best match for yourself and your family when choosing a health care provider. That’s why we’ve chosen to be clear about how patients, like you, rate their experiences with our providers.

Ratings from patients who have received care at North Memorial Health are shared on our website in Find a Doctor.

How it works

We routinely survey patients who receive care from a North Memorial Health provider.

Patients are invited to complete a survey by mail, email or text through our 3rd party survey vendor, Press Ganey. The Press Ganey Medical Practice survey is a standardized tool to measure patients’ perception of care provided by providers and care teams in the clinic setting. The survey gives our patients an opportunity to provide feedback about their experience with North Memorial Health clinics.

Your responses are used to identify how we might improve the care you receive from our providers and care teams in our clinics.

Our goal is to provide you with exceptional experiences. Survey responses are used to display an overall provider rating.

Star ratings for each provider are posted on our website.

Ratings are averaged to form a single star rating up to five stars. Provider ratings are based on patient responses to the following question: Using a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is “very poor” and 5 is “very good”, what number would you choose to answer, “Likelihood of recommending this care provider to others”?

We protect patient privacy by never displaying patient names as part of online ratings.

All personally identifiable information is removed prior to display.

Not all providers on the North Memorial Health website will have a star rating.

We will display ratings for providers who have a minimum of 30 completed surveys within a 12-month period. In addition, some providers on the North Memorial Health website may not have ratings because they participate in a different survey than the Press Ganey Medical Practice, or they are not surveyed by North Memorial Health.
