When a life insurance physical identified abnormal test results in Mark’s bloodwork, further testing determined he had lung cancer – a diagnosis that would require surgery to remove a portion of his lung. Dr. Mark Solfelt, a thoracic surgeon at North Memorial Health, utilized minimally invasive robotic technology to complete the surgery and set Mark on a path of recovery and healing.

More than 5 years later, he is cancer free and enjoying life with his wife, children, and 12 grandchildren thanks to the exceptional care he received from the North Memorial Health oncology team.
