North Memorial, in partnership with Multicare Associates, will be opening the North Memorial Urgency Center at Blaine Medical Center on April 29. The Urgency Center will be similar to a fully-equipped emergency department staffed by physicians from North Memorial’s Level I Trauma Center and be the first of its kind in the Blaine area.

Plymouth City Center, North Memorial Clinic's newest location, is set to open May 1, and appointments are now being accepted. The new clinic will provide care for primarily adult patients.

North Memorial Medical Center recently unveiled a Wall of Heroes as a tribute to patients who gave the gift of organ, eye and tissue donation.

North Memorial Medical Center has received Healthgrades 2013 Patient Safety Excellence Award™, according to Healthgrades, the leading online resource that helps consumers search, evaluate, compare and connect with physicians and hospitals.  The distinction places North Memorial within the top 5% of all hospitals for its excellent performance in safeguarding patients from serious, potentially preventable complications during their hospital stays.

It’s prom season. And in addition to picking out dresses and ordering tuxes, students from the northwest metro have been implementing an innovative campaign to get parents and teens talking about underage drinking. Bright pink signs with “T2T” on them are starting to pop up across the northwest suburbs. It’s all part of an effort, spearheaded by a North Memorial program called Partnership for Change, which focuses on preventing underage drinking and drug use.
