With more than 30 hospitals, 19 cancer centers, and 17 birthing locations nominated, earning a top spot is a strong reflection of the care and dedication our teams bring every day.

Frederick Arnason, Charles Horowitz, Usha Kalava, and Farha Khan have continued to be recognized by their peers – highlighting their ongoing commitment to delivering top-tier care in their respective fields.

North Memorial Health is a 2024 Press Ganey HX Pinnacle of Excellence Award® winner for patient experience at the Maple Grove Hospital NICU. This accolade represents our leadership in patient experience, as North Memorial Health drives year-over-year, sustained performance improvement.

North Memorial Health received the Minnesota Hospital Association’s 2024 Community Benefit award for our Black Women’s Breast Health Initiative. This initiative stemmed from a focus on eliminating disparities in breast health and encouraging breast cancer screenings for Black women in the communities surrounding North – Robbinsdale Hospital through direct outreach for scheduling mammograms, incorporating community education to help close the gap.

North – Maple Grove Hospital was included in Newsweek’s America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2024 Opens in new window list as one of 168 hospitals to receive a 5-ribbon rating based on reputation, patient experience, and quality metric scores. Participants rated hospitals on perinatal care, operative obstetrics, patient education, accommodation, and nurse and midwife staffing.

North Memorial Health received a score of 85 out of 100 and the designation of “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer” Opens in new window in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 16th anniversary edition of the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI).

The HEI is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey of healthcare facilities on policies and practices dedicated to the equitable treatment and inclusion of their LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees. A record 1,065 healthcare facilities actively participated in the 2024 HEI survey, and 462 of those earned “High Performer” designation.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Three North Memorial Health providers – nominated by their peers in the community – have been selected for Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s annual Rising Stars Award, honoring doctors who have had significant achievements early in their medical careers.

North – Robbinsdale Hospital and North – Maple Grove Hospital have been named to the 2023 Women’s Choice Award Best Hospitals list in a combined 11 categories. The hospitals were awarded based on clinical performance, customer satisfaction and appropriate accreditations. This national recognition is based on surveys of thousands of women and research conducted in partnership with the Wharton School of Business.

Robbinsdale Hospital and Maple Grove Hospital have both been named to the 2022 Fortune/Merative 100 Top Hospitals® list. This is the first time that North Memorial Health system has been recognized with this honor in the small health systems category, and the fourth time Maple Grove Hospital has earned the designation as one of the top performing medium community hospitals in the U.S. The annual list was published by Fortune.
