Approach To Care

Dr. Blotner believes that patients are the captains of their own health, and he serves as a knowledgeable and steady guide alongside them. He brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to cardiology, shaped by years of experience caring for diverse patients in both academic and community settings. Rather than dictating decisions, he focuses on understanding each patient’s goals, values, and concerns, then offering clear direction and evidence-based recommendations to help them navigate their options with confidence.

Patients who appreciate open communication, shared decision-making, and an active role in their care will find a strong partner in Dr. Blotner. He strives to create an environment where questions are encouraged, priorities are respected, and every patient feels empowered to chart the course that best fits their life. His goal is to ensure patients feel supported, informed, and genuinely heard at every step of their cardiovascular journey.

I empower patients to lead their care while providing direction, steady support, and guidance.
