Women's Care Unit
At North Memorial Medical Center, women can enjoy a unique environment. The Women's Care Unit is dedicated to helping women recover from surgery or illness. North Memorial's healthcare professionals offer a balanced approach to women's care - one that addresses both your physical and emotional needs.
Because every patient is part of a family system, including families and loved ones in the decision making process is part of the care. Dedicated female nurses, all with years of healthcare experience, have chosen to work in the Women's Care Unit. Our nurses work with you to personalize your care. Other members of your care team include physicians, rehabilitation therapists, dietitians, chaplains, social workers.
Ten private rooms and five semi-private rooms are available for our guests. Throughout your stay, you will be surrounded by a quiet, warm, home-like setting. The circular layout of the unit provides close contact with your nurses and areas for you to relax or visit outside your room.
