Cancer Prevention and Early Detection
It's important to detect cancer early, when treatment has the best chance for a cure. We work with primary care and specialty physicians to help you learn about steps you can take to prevent cancer and how to detect it.
In addition to providing educational resources to the community through written materials, presentations and screening events, we are involved in several community cancer awareness events such as:
- Twin Cities Komen Foundation Race for the Cure
- American Cancer Society Relay for Life
- North Memorial's Men's Health Program.
