NICU
Should your baby arrive early or with health problems, our Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is immediately available. We can provide a high level of care for your baby, and do so near your recovery area. Through a unique blend of medical expertise and a gentle, caring touch, premature babies weighing as little as one pound have left our medical center strong and healthy.
Because having a newborn in NICU can be a difficult time, we have developed the NICU Family Advisory Council. The mission of the NICU Family Advisory Council is to advise and advocate for newborns, children and their families. Volunteer council members will use personal experiences, wisdom and diverse points of view to affect positive experiences at North Memorial.
