Minnesota Public Safety Service Awards

The Public Safety Service Awards Program honors individuals who have distinguished themselves through acts of heroism and who might otherwise go unnoticed.

Among past recipients are:

  • Law enforcement officers (at the city, county, state and federal level)
  • EMS personnel
  • Firefighters
  • Civilians

These individuals have made extraordinary contributions to public safety by demonstrating deep commitment to their profession or through courageous acts that are above and beyond the call of duty.

The selection committee reviews all applications and chooses several people to be recognized at an awards banquet in November.
