Support for Breastfeeding

Breastmilk provides more than just good nutrition. Babies who are breastfed are shown to have fewer infections, reduced risk of allergies, lower rates of cancer, fewer adult intestinal disorders and score higher on tests of neurological development. New mothers often find that breastfeeding can be challenging. However, with a little knowledge and guidance, breastfeeding your baby can be simple and natural.

Why should I breastfeed my baby?

  • Passes along mother's immunities
  • Reduces childhood obesity
  • Provides all the right nutrients in all the right amounts
  • Help with mother and baby bonding
  • Reduces incidents of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)
  • Provides noticeable cost savings
  • Reduces mother's risk of some cancers
