Dr. Taynton received her BFA in dance from Ohio State University. After college, she danced professionally in New York City for five years, while owning and operating a Pilates exercise studio. She went on to receive her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and returned to her hometown of Robbinsdale to complete a family medicine residency through North Memorial. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, outdoor activities of almost any kind, reading, photography, travel, Pilates and yoga (and of course dancing).
