We offer services spanning the entire continuum of care from our ICU through inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Our physical therapy staff evaluates and treats patients both at the main campus of the medical center as well as at our clinic at the Arbor Lakes Medical Building in Maple Grove.
Exercise programs are individualized for each patient and may focus on improving the patient's strength, balance, coordination, mobility or endurance. The physical therapist also assesses the potential need for devices to assist with walking, wheelchairs and cushion, or orthotics. Patient treatment focuses on identifying the patient's goals and maximizing return of ability to perform functional activities such as bed mobility, transferring, and walking to facilitate the highest level of independence possible.
