Dr. Gerald Pitzl has been board-certified and re-certified since 1981.

A native of Minnesota, Dr. Pitzl received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1978 and completed his residency in family practice from North Memorial Medical Center in 1981. He is a member of the Academy of Family Practice, Minnesota Academy of Family Practice, Hennepin County Academy of Family Practice, American Medical Association, Minnesota Medical Association, and Hennepin County Medical Association. Additionally, he is an associate clinical professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Pitzl is active in sports. He enjoys spending time with his five children and his grandchildren.
