Pay It Forward Fund Casino Night
Pay It Forward Fund is a non-profit organization that helps patients pay their bills while they undergo treatment for breast and women’s cancers. The fund pays essential living expenses so patients can focus on what’s most important –getting well.
Annual North Memorial Gala
Each spring, North Memorial hosts a gala that helps to fund specific hospital initiatives. Since 1987, these galas have raised more than $3 million and funded a variety of program enhancements in areas such as rehabilitation, cancer care, stroke and heart centers, emergency and trauma services, hospice care, women and children’s services. The festive evening includes silent and live auctions, dinner, raffle, live music and dancing.
Hospice Golf Tournament
North Memorial Hospice is a national leader in end-of-life care, ensuring patients live each day with meaning and purpose. The annual golf tournament, Luau on the Links, is a Hawaiian-themed day of challenging golf, exceptional on-course events, extraordinary food and an opportunity to help a great cause. Proceeds support hospice patient care.
Donor Recognition Event
The generosity of valued benefactors and friends of North Memorial Foundation is recognized at a special event each year. We share the impact of their philanthropic support of North Memorial and hear from grateful patients inspired by their generosity.
Employee Giving Campaign
The North Memorial Employee Giving Campaign helps the needs of those in the community and in our own North Memorial Family. Past campaigns have raised money for SafeJourney, the North Memorial Employee Assistance Program, Community Health Charities of Minnesota, and the Greater Twin Cities United Way.
SafeJourney Celebration of Courage
Each year, SafeJourney holds Celebration of Courage, a benefit to celebrate the courage of the hundreds of women, men and children who have been touched by SafeJourney’s efforts. SafeJourney is a hospital-based domestic abuse advocacy program that provides a compassionate and informed response team of both trained medical personnel and volunteer advocates. The 24-hour program is available for patients at North Memorial Medical Center and Maple Grove Hospital, as well as for individuals in the community experiencing domestic abuse. Register today!
Hospice Memory Tree
The Hospice Memory Tree provides an opportunity to remember loved ones or to honor someone special during the holidays. Your donation puts a light on the tree to remind us that we are not alone and that life is forever strengthened by those we have loved. Donations are to help hospice patients and families in need. This event takes place every December.
