Sponsored by North Memorial, Men's Health is a popular annual event that features free health screenings, a light meal and a program with clinicians who discuss health issues as they pertain to men.
This year, topics include: Common Syndromes Affecting Digestion, Coping with Psychological Issues as You Age, Urinary Changes and Prostate Health, Ways to Keep Your Lungs and Heart Healthy, and Bone and Joint Health.
Health screenings prior to the program include blood pressure checks and diabetes screenings. The heart and stroke risk assessments will be available for men only and registration is required. There will also be seated chair massages during the health fair and information on nutrition, cancer prevention and much more.
The program takes place Tuesday, September 9 at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center.
