Dr. Robert McDonald is a board-certified family physician. His desire is to provide patient-centered and collaborative care.

Dr. McDonald completed his undergraduate studies at University of Minnesota, Morris where he graduated with honors. He attended the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth and did his residency at the Duluth Family Medicine Residency, University of Minnesota. Prior to joining North Memorial, Dr. McDonald practiced with PS Rudie, MD and Associates where he served as both Vice President and President of the organization. In 2011, he was voted by his peers as one of the Top Doctors and recognized for that distinction by "Duluth Superior Magazine." In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, woodworking, travel, running and cycling.
