Dr. Maheshwari is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology.  His clinical practice includes interventional cardiology, trans-catheter closure of ASD/PFOs, peripheral endovascular interventions, general and non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Maheshwari graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College and accomplished post-graduate studies in Internal Medicine at Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi, India.  He completed an Internal Medical residency at Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals, Saginaw, MI.  His Cardiology Fellowship was at Michigan State University (where he was Chief Fellow), and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Vermont, Burlington, VT.  Before joining North Memorial, Dr. Maheshwari was in practice for five years with Michigan Cardiovascular Institute in Saginaw, MI.
