Dr. Michael King is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. His special interests include valve replacement/repair, ascending aorta repairs, congenital repairs and transmyocardial revascularization (TMR). Dr. King earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in Memphis. He completed a general surgery and a thoracic and cardiovascular surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
