North Memorial General and Trauma Surgery

Mark Ahrendt, MD, has served as a trauma surgeon at North Memorial since 1993. He has a clinical special interest in initial Emergency Department evaluation and continued hospital care of all types of traumatic injuries.

Dr. Ahrendt attended medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (Rochester, NY). He completed a general surgery residency at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital.

Dr. Ahrendt is married and has two children and two dogs. He enjoys tennis, bicycling, golf, spening time in Northern San Diego County.
