Dr. Zelent completed his internship at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis and his residency in podiatry surgery at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, where he was chief resident, 2005-2006 and 2006-2007. He is an associate member of - The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, The American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine, and the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Zelent has been an author of numerous publications and is currently a manuscript reviewer for both the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
